One on One with Dietitian
Well I am back from Bangor from seeing Amanda for my one on one dietitian appointment...It went great, a lot better than I had expected, but then again I am always hard on myself...My A1C was 7.2 which is under the 8 they wanted, not the greatest, but still in the range they wanted and I know it would have been even better if I hadn't been on prednisone for awhile because of bronchitis...Anyway now all I need is to show compliance with my bi pap machine and then 4-8 weeks from then I should get a surgeon appointment and then 2 months after that I should have my approval and surgery date...Things were looking bad for us for awhile and now things are starting to look up...Yeah...thanks for all your support during the rough times, It really helped me a lot. Oh and I have lost a few lbs too...not a lot but things have been stressful so atleast I didn't gain...

yoohooo, Angela, that sounds awesome, so now you need to work on the c pak, there are lots of girls here who have gone thru this, some good and some bad, but all with lots of great support for you. the sooner the better you get this done with. so looks like you'll be shedding by the Holidays, and looking pretty dang sexy by next summer. Congratulations, good job, cheryl
Glad to hear things went well Angela! Things are rolling now! I know the cpap is a pain, but, if you're like me, you do what you have to do to get this surgery! btw...I haven't used my cpap since surgery and Dh says I don't snore anymore! WOOHOO!
