Extreme Pain Update

Hi Everyone~ As those of you *****ad my posts this weekend know I spent Saturday night and most of Sunday in extreme pain.  I called Dr. Loggin's office this morning.  They had me go right in for a swallow study, upper & lower GI.  Swallow study showed no blockage, thank God.  The final results of the GI's I haven't been called about but they did see a huge air bubble in my colon and a piece of my colon that appeared to not be working.  Causing major air back-up and some pretty bad constipation.  Haven't had any relief yet but I was instructed to take MOM when I got home and again before bed.  At least it doesn't taste as bad as that NASTY stuff I had to drink today.   ICK I remember it from the day after surgery.  .  Hopefully I get some good news with the results tomorrow.  May need a CT scan.  I just want to know what it is so I can get rid of this pain!!!

Wow Stephanie!  Just what you needed!  Glad they are checking it all out for you though!  I hope they are able to "clear" things out for you so you can feel better!  Please feel better and keep us posted with any news!  Definitely sending hugs and honks your way tonight too!!!!  Ruth

wow, steph, so what does that mean that your colon isnt' working?  as for the bubble, a huge Fart would be nice, I should ask my DH what he does???   maybe the Fart will wake up the colon and get things moving again, MOM, walk, water,  let us know what's happening... good luck, Hugs, cheryl

Stephanie, mix your 30 cc of MOM with 120 cc WARM prune juice.  I call these "Prune Juice Bombs" and they work everytime!  Let me know if it helps.

Well...the MOM finally worked about 10am this morning.  I let out one horendous fart (sorry TMI) and then I had to GO NOW!!!  Feel better but my side still hurts  The results of yesterday came out fine.  I'm to call if the pain doesn't get any better.  Right now it is there but better than it was.

well, there you go Steph, I though I heard something around 10, my windows vibrated.  You might have another little one trapped in there.... Let her Rip !!!!  My tummy hurts (left side) if I dont' go everyday.  I must have a kink in my hose??? Hope it gets better.. Hugs, Cheryl
