I am here.  DH and I went to a cool event this am...suppose to meet the GOV but he sent a rep instead, much nicer guy anyway, Bill Diamond......anyway.  It was a "golden spike" ceremony,   the State has finished purchasing the Rt 113 corrider of rail line and is planning to reopen rail service from Portland to Fryeburg.  This is huge for our area, and huge for us personally as we own and operate a bulk water extraction plant in Fryeburg and having rail freight again is GREAT!! So it was a wonderful morning in STandish at the boat launch on Sebago.

Wow, that sound like such a possitive thing for your business, every one is hurting so much, my Son was telling us that his Hotel in portland is $64,000 under last year.  and hurting bad, plus my carpenter said all his contractors are hurting bad, not enough work.  People aren't having things done residentially.  ON a good note, my addition is done, carpenters are finished.  we do have the cellar part that my DH is gonna finish (on his own time) and a few painting things for me, and electricians have one last run thru and we're done!!! yeee haa... Birthday party went good, LM always happy, even with just a few gifts the cake and ice cream was enough for him, lol  Yes ! I took a big finger lick of Best Cream frosting... ewwwww.  have a great weekend,  Hugs, Cheryl

G'morning...isn't Ruth still camping...??

I took some campers to Logan Airport yesterday to fly back home...
left Belgrade a lil' after 9am and got home at 1:30 this morning 

It went really well...kind of yo-yoey though...4 for domestic flights and then hurry over to the International side for 2 flying to France...but it went OK and the traffic wasn't bad going down or on the way back...which is always a good thing !!

oh, yea, I forgot about camping, boy, the nerve of her, going camping.... wish the weather was better for her.  Logan airport, you drove?  Your awesome, I don't even go to Portland, unless its the Mall...This weather is killing me, we went for a boat ride last night aorund 7, and had to race around the lake cause of dark clouds. 

I drive to the JetPort (in Portland) and to Logan quite often...with a 10 passenger van and a small trailer hooked to the back (for all the luggage & stuff)...
Driving to Logan isn't so bad now that they've (finally) finished the "Big Dig"...going there a year or so ago was just asking for a major headache !! 

YIKES !!
Now that's scary ~ being in a boat, on a lake, with a possible storm coming ?!?!
I don't think so !! 

I'll stick with my van full of campers !! 

Yup!  I was camping and the internet didn't exist for a couple of days....anyways, the laptop crashed on me while we were there!  Worked out for the best though....lots of quality, family time!   Very enjoyable!  Sorry I wasn't here to keep you company!!!!!  hehe!  Have a great rest of your weekend!  Ruth
