I had emergency surgery Tuesday. I ended up having an intestinal hernia, which Dr. Toder repaired. She also checked out everything else while she was in the neighborhood.

She used the same ports for this surgery as my RNY surgery- so no new marks or holes.

I'm home for at least a week on lifting restrictions and bed rest.

Whoever posted asking about Dr. Toder- they don't get any better than her. I have, and will continue to trust my life in her hands. She is excellent at her work- the head of the Bariatric program at EMMC.

I do agree with you, Emily, I had Dr. Toder, for my RNY surgery, and she was excellent:-) I do hope you feel better:-)

So glad you are doing better. How fortunate you are to have Dr Toder and her staff, all the folks here on the Maine Board and your DH...not to mention God ...8^)... standing right alongside!
