What an awesome feeling - walking into Avenue or Lane Bryant and having them look at you like you don't belong?!

CONGRATS! Might I suggest you try Maurice's next? I LOVE their jeans!

Back at'cha, sweet cheeks

And Merry Christmas to everyone here!  What's everyone got on their agenda?

I'm off tomorrow, need to wrap gifts, pick up some groceries, and bake a few more cookies.  I work my hobby job Saturday afternoon, off on Christmas, and off again Monday from my main job, but work the hobby job Monday night.  So not a huge break, but enough.  Christmas eve at my brother's (might have to hit the hot tub.... oh, who am I kidding?  I KNOW we'll be hitting the hot tub!), Christmas Day evening at the BIL's...

It IS hard to get into the spirit without a coating of white outside, but it's not about the snow.  I'm trying to focus on the Reason for the Season, and give all my stresses the weekend off.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and all the other Holidays anyone here celebrates

Topic: Plastics with Dr. Cantwell
Has anyone had any work done by the plastic surgeon Dr. Cantwell? I had my first consult with him yesterday. He's nice and I liked his straight forward approach to things. I'm just wondering if anyone has anything good or bad to say about him??

Thank You,
Heidi

Topic: RE: Fess up Monday! Report your weigh-in here
This is really a tough time of year to avoid treats!  I didn't notice it as much last year because I was still in the "not-interested-in-sweets" phase of my weight loss.  NO MORE!  Now the sweets go down just like they used to, and I'm definitely having a hard time saying no.

Hold fast, everyone!  We can do this!

If anyone is interested, there is a New Year's Day 5K run/walk around Como Lake.  My DD and I are planning to do it--a good way to start the new year off right with exercise.

I stayed about the same- down .2.  BUT, I just tallied my monthly stats as it was 7 months for me on Monday as well as a regular recorded weigh in.  AND, I only lost 3.8 this entire last month and before this the least I have lost was 9.6... so freaking out!  I know exactly why- sweets and snacking.  I'll admit it and it SUCKS.  I need to nip this in the bud despite the holidays and I need to start exercising, then stick with it.  Ugh.  I need a kick in the butt people because I want to maximize this first year.  Tomorrow I am writing down everything I eat and throwing out any treats gifted to me at work.  Maybe I'll get my bum on the treadmill at 5 too...

Saturday I brought the kids to our library to see Santa, Mrs. Claus, make ornaments, color, decorate cookies, write letters to Santa and pet farm animals (weird to have ducks, turkeys, goats, chickens, etc. in the library).  After lunch my daughter had a birthday party so we dropped her off and then my son and I made puppy chow.  After picking up my daughter we went home for a few minutes and then left for another birthday party that took us into the evening hours.

On Sunday my husband and I went to Hutch to do a bunch of Christmas shopping and went out to eat at BWW.  Man, I was surprised how empty the stores were.  Even downtown was a bit of a ghost town...weird.  When we were finished shopping we walked around the Chevy dealership and looked at (and dreamed about) Enclaves.  They even left one unlocked so we were able to check out the interior.  It was so nice to be outside without being so bundled up!

Topic: RE: wanting to start group in Hutchinson MN
If the time works out I will attend as I can. My Mankato group is no longer meeting and driving to the metro just isn't happening. Wasn't there a group that was meeting once or twice each month at Coffee Co. or Dunn Bros. at one point? Keep me posted!
