Great! I hope you check it out and come!
You can come to the workshops during the day, or the evening celebration, or both! This event is for post-op, pre-op, and those just considering WLS, along with their support people, and those in the medical community. Come by yourself and meet new friends, or bring someone or a bunch of people. The evening celebration is a great time! The daytime education piece is on it's 3rd year, and every year it gets even better with speaker choices and meals are included.
Let me know here if you have any questions or email me at: [email protected].

Topic: RE: Monday!! Weigh In Time
Jessica's right--you are still on the right track! Everybody has to take a break every now and then. The key is not to let it get you thinking--"Oh well, I messed up, I'll just keep eating." That's what I used to do. But NOT ANYMORE!

Topic: need clothes
I just reached size 16. Yipee!!!!!!! I don't have any clothes for that size that will keep me warm while I am getting to my next size. Anyone have anything they grew out of and can bring to the south of the river coffee on Saturday?
I have to laugh at myself as I am complaining about not having clothes in that size, but I havent been that size since high school! YEAH ME!!!

Don't beat yourself up about it. You still lost!! It's ok to allow yourself a break here and there. It's all about control. I had some bad stuff for myself at Valleyfair a few weeks ago but the thing was, what I had was a smaller portion and I made the best of it. I had a burger but only could eat half of it and without the bun. The old me would have had the whole thing plus fries plus a pop. You are doing great!
