Oh Debbie this really makes me sad , if any of you know Paul he is very very tall big man that to be knocked down in the prime of life like this is so so sad,...He is a great guy and am happy that i can say he is a friend of mine and Joes...I will be praying that God will take care of him to keep him from having a lot of pain....it doesnt sound good that he had this bad reaction to the Chemo so if he recovers from this round i know they wont do anymore of it.  Please pray with us that he and his family will have the grace of God to surrounding them in this time of need .....

Mama Jan & MO Peeps:

Wanted to ask all you prayer warriors out there to be praying for Bec and her husband Paul. Paul was diagnosed with Stage 4 abdominal cancer about a month ago. They have already told them it is "incurable". He took his first round of chemo Wednesday and was admitted into Bothwell yesterday. His body did not take the chemo well at all. Apparently, his whole system pretty much shut down. He will be at Bothwell for at least a week.  Please pray that the Lord will give the doctors and nurses who are caring for Paul the wisdom on how best to treat him.  Please also pray for the "peace that passeth all understanding" that only the Holy Spirit can give.

As you can imagine, Bec and the girls needs your prayers as well.  She told me that she would try (if she is able) to get on here and post something as well.  Not sure when/if that will happen.

I put Paul on the prayer chain at church. I would ask that you all do the same. God is still on His throne and He is ABLE to do all that we ask - above and beyond what we ask is what His Word says!

Love you all,
Debbie D.

ON the great American highway adventure.  somewhere between Houston and ElPaso, lol all looks the same small hills covered in cedar trees sparcely and mesquit trees.... only thing that makes it look different is the highway signs showing how much highway we have eaten up since the last potty break and gas fill up, that we had to take out a loan for lol  makes me yern more and more for the beautiful Andes mountains and the cheap gasoline there (1.48) a gallon ...
going to go and do some more pictures to put on Facebook here in a little bit, will just make me more homesick for our little farm and so anxious to get all of the things done here so we can get back to it.
We will probably be having an auction in June some time so anyone want to come down and get some bargains would love to have you and if you want some flowers come down eailer and you can dig up what you want....in May will be the iris in bloom , i am going to dig a lot of them up and put them in pots so they will bloom there and sell them i have a lot of money invested in those things ...if the ones i have dug that dont sell i will take them out of the pots, clean all the dirt off of them and mail them to myself...lol same with lillies ...and maybe some other things but there are so many things there that are flowers that i have spent big money on here to get started in my flower beds, things that grow wild there.....like lantana, orchids,, impatients and many more so will dig some of those up in the hills and put on my gardens will have our farm area beautiful soon enough after we get back....
Frst when we get back we are going to make a fast trip to the coast to see the whales etc while they are there with their babies....then back home to get things going on our little Finca(farm) will need to plant some garden. and start a strawberry patch...lots to do lots to do...
Hope all of you are well ...no one is responding on here much are they , what happened to you all...thank you all of you for the things you did to try to keep the post going. ...cant wait to see you all at the April meeting...love you all  It sounds like Brenda is having tiny bits of improvement....lets all continue to pray for her complete recovery.....
love and hugs

Hi Jan!!!  I'm so glad you are back on the board.  It was way tooo quiet around here without you.  I hope you are traveling safe today.  I have been keeping busy lately.  Right now we are looking for a new place to live that we can afford and will hopefully keep us in the same school district.  Our roomies would like us to be out by the beginning of July which is fine.  We were planning on moving into our own place anyhow, this just kinda kicked our butts into gear.  I'm still doing pretty good at following plan though I have to admit I have slacked just a little.  It seems when I get busy taking care of everybody else I forget about myself and slack off.  The hardest thing in the world for me is to put myself first.  Sounds like you had a fantastic time in Equador.  I still have to peek at your pictures but I'm sure they are beautiful.

Lady,
Oh, I hope you can come. We have such a nice group that loves new people and wants to help you in any way we can. We are very informal - no real agenda except for questions, triumphs and bumps in the road. All are very honest and caring. It would be good to meet you and your friend.
Hugs,
Lana

I am hoping to finally get to come to the meeting. I am in the process of moving to Springfield. I will start moving Monday. I have wanted to attend in the past but right after I got back to work from my surgery I found out I had a tumor on my ovary the size of a soccer ball so had to have a second surgery. I am currently recovering from that surgery wear out fast still. Having trouble keeping my iron up. I really need a support meeting! going to try to get my friend that is wanting to have bariatric surgery to come with me. Surgeon won't do her surgery until she gets her diabetes under control. Hopefully it will be an encouragement for her to come to a meeting as well.

Welcome back Jan!!  You have been missed.  Ecuador sounds beautiful.

We moved 2 weeks ago and love the new place, but I still have a lot of stuff to put away.  Will be so glad when everything is in place and I can really enjoy it.

My SD is very unhappy with her father for moving.  She still asks him to pick up the girls and do this and that, but he has said no a few times.  It's only 7 miles over there, but an inconvenience plus the price of gas is a little high.  She's really going to be mad when I tell her I'm not altering the dance costumes.  I have arthritis in my right hand so hand sewing is difficult.

I'll take a look at your pics on FB.  Is it really hot down there in the summer?
