Topic: Good Morning Missouri
I sure hope Jan is having the trip of a lifetime . I know we all miss her here.  Just because she is gone for a while doesn't mean we can't still post.
I read that Brenda had a setback yesterday. She has really had a difficult time. We all need to keep her in our prayers. Keep her family in prayer also.
I hope everyone else is doing well and staying on track. Have a wonderful Sunday.

Hey Missouri Board,

Sorry it's been so long since I've been on here, have been spending most of the last 3 weeks driving to try and get my training hours over. Finally did that on Thursday, but had to deliver a time critical load before they will test me and assign my truck. On the way to deliver we had to stop west of Omaha NE because of a bad snow storm, and finally got to Salt Lake City last night. Bad part of this trip is we a stuck in SLC, because the truck started leaking exhaust fumes into the cab and we can't drive it until the problem is fixed. Freightliner won't be able to start on the truck til Sunday evening after 5 so may not be out of SLC  for a few days. I am going to sign on with an owner operator, and will be making more money to start, and have a lot more freedom with the truck since it won't belong to Werner. So if I get to Springfield I will be able to stop and come to meetings or meet with my friends in Springfield and KC.

Lana, am so sorry to hear the news about Brenda. How is she doing now? I will keep her and Randy in my prayers.

Has anyone heard from Jan? Wondering how her vacation is going.

Well need to close this and get some more things done. Haven't been able to stop long enough to get on the internet and need to check my e-mail and delete about 500 of them.

HUGS TO YOU ALL, will soon have a wi-fi card so I can stay up on everyone on the board.

Topic: feeling sick today.
I don't know if it is the flu/bronchits/pneumonia I have been battling all month but I lost my mind last night.  Had nacho chips
in the house (first mistake)  for a party that was cancelled at work.  At least I was smart enough to buy ONE small bag.  Came home and ate some.  Yikes. I have not eaten this stuff in two years since I got very sick on them - pre surgery and they revisited me for 24 hours.  Now last night I tasted them over and over again in GERD reflux acid sx.  And Today still tasting them and have reflux sx.  To make it all futile they even tasted bad the first time around last night.  Chalk one up to the learning link in my head .  Post op file. Never to push this limit again!!  Happy Weekend. My B day is Monday too. Maja

That's great that you are maintaining.  You've come a long way.  I hear so many that regain a lot of their weight, and that's really sad.  I still want to lose another 20 lbs.  I've maintained for nearly 2 years.  That's something I never did in my old life.  I would go down a few pounds than up and weigh a little more than when I started a diet.

I'm so fortunate to have been able to have the surgery.

I have been driving 3 hours from NE MO for my appts with Dr. H.  This move cuts time by
about 20 mins so not much change.  Glad he didn't move across country.  That would have
been out of reach.  Great practice.  I will continue to see him.

I also got my letter and would totally drive that far just to be able to keep him as  a Dr. He and Margie are the most caring and personal medical professionals I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient for. Totally worth the drive for me. :) Whats another hour when you know you will get the straight up truth and facts. :) Nothing when it comes to my health.

I got the letter also but its just too far for me now. If I have problems I might have to change my mind because he is a great doctor.
