Good afternoon Jan!!!  Yeah, looks like that snow is making a beeline straight for us.   Where I am I'm expecting 6 or 7 inches.  Good for Cody but not so good for Mom, lol.  Cody is really loving it cause he was already going to miss Friday and possibly Monday because he and my mom are going to my brother's house for the weekend.  For Cody's birthday my brother bought he and Cody tickets to the Ozzy Osbourne concert up in Kansas City and it is this weekend.  My mom is going to my brother's with Cody so we don't have to send him on the train alone. He may be 13 but I'm still not comfortable letting him do that alone and Mom volunteered so I figured "why not?'  So Michael and I should have a super quiet weekend.  Too bad we don't have the money to actually do something, lol.

I know what you mean about the glasses.  I really need to go and get my eyes examined again so I can get new glasses.  I know I need a new prescription but right now we just can't afford it and unfortunately rent and food do come first.

I want to thank you so very much for turning me on to drinking my protein in my coffee.  I had never thought of it before and it tastes so much better this way.  Not to mention it's a great way to start my day.  I think I'm going to try and get my walk in before too long if it's not too cold outside.  Goodness knows I won't be able to walk for a few days because of the snow and extreme cold so I better get it in today and figure something else to do for the next few days.

On Thursday when Mom comes to get Cody she is bringing my scale up and I'm excited (who ever thought I'd be excited about being able to get on a scale, lol).  The one I had at her house goes accurately up to 350 so I know I will be able to weigh on it.  I'm hoping it's going down but have to keep the faith if it's not.

Well, better get moving.  Michael's wanting some lunch and I better find me some before it gets too much later.  Hope everyone is having a fantastic day.  Stay safe and warm.

Snow....ugh.  Sure hope they're wrong about the forecast.  Greg has court tomorrow and wants to get it over with.  I hope it's not cancelled.

I've been thinking about letting my hair go natural which would probablybe mostly gray, but I don't.  If I could have the Paula Deen look that would be great but I don't have hairdressers back stage to fix my hair.  My hair is not very thick.  I loved the look of the wigs I wore for awhile, but they make my head itch.

I have to get going on downsizing if we are going to move.  I'm not one to keep stuff but Max is.  Some things I'll put on Craig's List but others will go to charity.  Greg wants to rent out house and that would be great, but he's not working right now.  The GF needs to get rid of her house because she can't afford the payment which are over $900 a month and it's a money pit.  She prefers living in Kansas and he prefers Missouri.  If she wants to move to Raytown that would work out fine.  Greg would take care of the place.  We could leave the lawn equipment there.

So much to get done.....makes me tired just thinking about it.

Looks like we are all going to get snow this time around....darn wish i wasnt here lol ....but wont be long now we will soon be out of all of this snow and cold.

Went yesterday to town and had lunch with one of the girls i worked with....she was sent with a message from a bunch of the girls at work that i needed to get back to work. lol told her to tell them that i might when we get back if we dont want to move where we have been.

Then went and got my hair cut and colored ...yeah looks so much better. its just hard to put highlights in  your own hair.  then we went and picked up our glasses ....oh my gosh i can see really well....didnt know i was so blind until i put them on. lol  AMAZING....

We are suppose to go to my brothers this evening but if it is suppose to start snowing about 3 or 4 i dont know if we should or not......decisions decisions. lol

Been going thru papers and old magazines and pitching them ....Joe bundled it all up to burn when he has time he still has some limbs to burn out at the burn pile....

Well better get off here and get busy doing something.

I'm being told by the EFMP (Exceptional Family Member Program) from Post hospital that the closest Bariatric surgeon is in Springfield, which is about 100 miles from Fort Leonard Wood.
Just for information purposes.

Well Jo, that just plain sucks. Why on earth do people do dental insurance if it covers so little? That's crazy to me - these dental folks need to work on this for sure.

I hope you can work it out so that it is a good deal for you.

I have dental insurance.  Insurance would pay $750 towards a partial.  My part for implants would be about $3,900.

Can you look into dental insurance, or is that not an option? Seems like teeth are steep! Hope we don't get the snow.

THEY TRIED TO KILL ME TODAY.

O.k., maybe I am overreacting. I went to my first class at the Y. FIT (females in training - though for me, it was more like fatty in training). Wow. It was hard. I am sore still and I'm sure that feeling will blossom. It's a class for toning and fitness. I am apparantly NOT fit or toned.

Ouchie, ouchie, ouchie is all I can say. The instructor was great and I had fun and she let me do some more basic stuff (I missed the first 2 weeks of class) but boy, am I ever in bad shape.

I wasn't sure I would be going to work after hearing the forecast, but I made it just fine.  No ice on my way in.

I went to the dentist yesterday for teeth cleaning and to get an estimate to replace my missing teeth.  An implant would be about $6K and a partial is about $1,200 with my part being $450.  The dentist said the partials are not usually very comfortable, but I need some teeth to chew with on that side.   Sure can't afford $6K though.

Snow, lots of snow, is forecast the next 2 days.  I never believe the forecasters.  I just wait and see what happens.

Hope to hear from more of you today.
