Hot , heat, more hot with a forecast of possible HOT!!!!!!! Oh how i wish i were in Ecuador....a heat wave there is anything above 80 lol  of course in the jungle on the east side of the country it gets hot and humid and stays that way since it is a constant mist or drizzle or rain there. but dont intend to live in there either. Joe wants to go fishing down the Amazon river at least once lol and i told him yeah i might go once but believe me that will be all i will want to go , with the heat, humidity and misquitoes....yeah they have good big fish in there but they also have lots of other things in there. ..now if we were going to be living in the jungle you all would have the right to be worried about us.

Looks like the heat has everyone just trying to stay cool and even typing is too much trouble for some.  come on everyone let me know how you all are doing. Us we are just waiting waiting and waiting some more . sitting inside in the a/c cause it is too hot to go outside to try and do anything. the heat and sun has dried up all the grass and most of my flowers too. it is a sad looking landscape. even the large bushes are burning up sure hope it doesnt kill them and i cant run enough water on them to seem to help....i have 6 hoses going all the time and the sun continues to burn them ..sad when i think about all the work i have done here ....

everyone stay cool , dont be afraid to run those air conditioners you have to stay cool....

i would like prayer i somehow sprained my left ankle.i still do not know how i did it.when i am on it for a little while it swell's up.the doctor said my bones are weak in that ankle and i could have turned my ankle the wrong way without knowing it.also i rubbed a sore on one of my toes and it got some infection so the doctor is treating it too.i am getting better each day just have to watch what i am doing.

Hmmmm looks like no one has posted in a week......we are still getting things put here and there. Yesterday had 20 small boxes fed exed to Ecuador...cost us a lot but less than post office ...called a friend of mine there and she said we could have them to deliver them to her house. so that is the address we put on them. wonder if they will all get opened for inspection. may they can do that if they want. but i wrote on the label on them exactly what was in each one ....lot to mailing things internationally . whole different ball game than in USA.
Postal service isnt a really great thing there yet but they say it is a lot better than it use to be. One day they will develope it like here but for now it isnt. Locals there to mail something to someone in another town use either the local airlines services from one town to the other...or they use the bus services ....the busses are everywhere and go to all the tiny out of the way places. you go to the bus terminal in your town and send it to the bus terminal in the town of your friend then they go there to pick it up.....sounds like they pretty much have a got thing going right there ...all they need to do is have a office at each bus terminal so people can get their mail there all the time. as the post offices ran by the government isnt as dependable as the bus services ....maybe that might be a job for me lol wish i were younger i would see about it.
If anyone here was in mail service and knew all about it they could maybe make a job for themselves there with the government even.
Our money that we are expecting is definetly coming in on the 2nd so that is our new escape date lol ....have called and gotten a large trailer reserved to haul stuff to storage in Texas so that will be the place that it will ship out of when we get our resident visas. cant wait.
well talk to you all later got to go dig some more lillies and plants for my friend in La. .....

Circle of Friends is an independent support group that meets at the South Campbell Library Center once a month. We do not have speakers, we prefer a more loose meeting with people bringing problems and joys to share with others. We are a welcoming family who support one another and range all the way from people waiting for approval to those who are over 7 years out from surgery. We learn from one anothers triumphs and struggles. We have folks from as far away as St. Robert and Harrison, AR who drive to meetings. We would love to have you join us and see if we're a good fit for what you need. We love new people as we all share and learn together. You can message me if you want more information.

Jo,

Thanks for the recommendation ... I've pretty much zeroed in on Dr. Scott.  Good to know Dr. Morales is there too.  Gathering my records to send up to them and see if I can get an appointment.    Maybe we'll run into each other one of these days.

Thanks again!
