198 lbs tastes like....... 197 here you come.... Call ya later ....
I am in the same stage of pursuing plastic surgery. I have found that which surgeons to see depends greatly on what procedure(s) you are interested in and the amount of skin redundancy you are dealing with.
I have had one office consult so far, and that was with Dr. Jeffrey Roth. He has a wonderful demeanor and was very patient and thorough in his explanations. He did not push any procedures or products and his fees seem to be about average for the procedures I am interested in. You can take a look at his website www.jjrothmd.com and your first consult is free.
I have also heard great things about Dr Lane Smith in Summerlin and am considering scheduling a consult with him next.
Dr. Arthur Cambeiro is said to be one of the best surgeons for breast surgery. I believe his office is located in Henderson. However, I was cautioned about the "mini" procedures he offers for tummy and arms, but of course everyone is different so they may be appropriate procedures for someone else.
All I can say is take your time, do lots of research, plan on having multiple consults to get a real feel for the surgeons, ask lots of questions and don't allow yourself to feel rushed or pressured into anything. If you come across anyone during your research please share! Good Luck!!!
I was happy yesterday, but now today weighing in at 198 lbs, I feel overwhelmed. I guess it's starting to sink in. I haven't weighed under 200 in over 20 yrs.. I feel good! I mean really feel good.. nothing hurts, nothing is swollen, I'm not exhausted and I actually like to exercise... IMAGINE THAT!!! Although... let's not overdo it though.. LOL! I only exercise about 3 times a week and I MUST increase that.... I'm a work in progress!!
I want to SHOUT 'TILL THEY HEAR ME ON THE MOON!!!

Have a skinny day!
Ciao!

CONGRATS on entering the wonderful world of ONEDERLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll never forget...when I FINALLY saw 199.0 on the scale...took a picture and showed Ron who said..."why does our scale say 1990 on it?" What did I expect from a MAN anyways?
In my personal case I had hypertension; sleep apnea and a BMI of 54.1(WOW!!!!). Don't give up hope...this new life is worth fighting for. And once surgery is done...hold on tight...the ride is a roller coaster at times. BUT it's my life and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
And in the words of MY MAN...Bon Jovi..."It's My Life...It's Now or Never" This has been my motto from day 1
