Support Group Tonight

I hope everyone made it home before the storm**** It is something else out there right now! I wanted to comment on how much I have enjoyed the support groups. This is only the 2nd one I have attended and I have not posted here that much really but I was so amazed at those of you *****cognized me and took the time to say hello. I told Dr Keller -- I am a nurse and I work with patients with chronic illnesses. As a result I have attended a LOT of support groups, but NEVER one as supportive as the one at WW! I wish I could make it to the dinner this month but that is just a few days after my son's wedding and I will still have family in town. Nancy

Hi, Nancy.  I'm sorry I didn't get to personally meet you last night.  I did see you though but my husband was in a hurry to leave because of the weather.  I was sitting at the front on your right side facing the front with my husband in front of me.  These are wonderful people and I always leave the meetings so encouraged and amazed watching our friends loose weight and transform lives.  I hope all goes well and your surgery date is set very soon....Debbie

Hi Debbie...I did meet Nancy, but missed meeting you.  I was also in a hurry because of the weather.  Are you going to be able to make the meet & greet on the 18th? If so, I'll get to meet you there.  Wendy

It was so nice to meet you last night.  I agree with you!  This is the nicest group of people I have ever met in my life.  The environment is so warm and supportive.  I love posting here because the same delightful people are here.  Good luck on your son's wedding  and with your surgery. Denise

I knew I recognized you but my feeble brain couldn't make the connection!  Dang it!  I wish you had said something if you recognized me! I love the support group too!  The first hour is good, the second hour is the best.  I love to hear people's stories because it is always so motivational! Sorry you'll miss the dinner but we'll try for July! Kim

I did not say anything because I never really expected anyone to recognize me! I think everyone was rushing out due to the weather and I am glad it did not turn out as bad as they were predicting it might. I can't wait until the next meeting and I will definitely try to make the July dinner! Nancy
