Dr.Gorospe here in Tulsa don't really give a discount but I heard the hospital does if you ask.  Think is I didn't know this until AFTER I had shelled out over $30k.  None the less money was not an issue.  Saving my life was and I had the best doctor to do just that.

I was a self-pay and went to WeightWise in Edmond.  My charges for the facility, anethesiologist, and surgeon was $15,000 for lap RNY.  I think the sleeve is about $9,999 or $9,000.  You can look on their website but better still attend one of their seminars on Saturday for information.  Both surgeons are AWESOME and the care is above all very personalized and you are treated so special.  This is a specialized hospital and they know what we require.  Debbie

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

Thank you so much!!!  Just learning and doing research on all this.  Need to get the lap band.  I will check out WeightWise.

Attend a seminar and learn about all three options. You will hear both pro's and cons of each....It could change how you feel about one or another......To me a person can shop for the cheapest price and end up with a cheap Doctor....not that I am saying always....Reputation is important so be on guard for that.  Also, if you should have complications, I would think a person would want to be near to the hospital where the Dr did the surgery. Good luck but please attend a seminar....It will help you to decide....no commitment....just information.   Sherry
