Hope you get to feeling better soon, Thomas.  It doesn't make you a wussy to take pain meds... they are your best friend after surgery...  Take care!

Well, now you know.  I don't always take my pain meds, but I always want them in CASE I want them...and having them around makes me relax about it more and then I don't need them.  That is woman logic and I don't really expect you to understand.

Drugs are good!  Enough of that macho BS - they messed with your innards!  You need some help, if just for a little while.  I filled them all but never needed the Phenergan, thank goodness.  But I did swig on that liquid Lortab even though it was puke!  Glad you are back among the living - you had me worried!

hey buddy I still use a Percocet from time to time if needed and I am 3 months out.  I worked out a week or so ago in the gym here at my place and really ripped up the arms and abdominal muscles and I was hurting for 3 days.  I NEEDED one to be able to get some rest.  So don't think its not macho to take pain meds.  I would rather be called a wuss than be called a dumbass (not calling you one) for continuing to be in pain.

Glad you decided to fill your RX.  Drugs are your friend (in moderation of course!)  Hope you are feeling better! Great pic with the amazing Miss Rita! Denise
