OKC area meet, eat, and greet!

Deb!  That's  hysterical!  Wonder how much your salary would've gone up if you'd worked "next door"!

Based on some of the offers I got, quite a bit.  One of our better clients was a local, uh (what is the word for male madam?), not a pimp cause he had his own house.  Some of his better clients were also our better clients-essentially we had the same client base-Okie businessman money.  And our bank-Penn Square, of course.

Now, I became an accountant in the banking industry, a later a Sarbane's Oxley compliance manager-but thanks to the good old boys by the time I got to college I knew there was often a big difference between what they say in the books and what goes on in business.  I think that's why I liked accounting-it was pretty cut and dried as to what was ok and what was not, or at least until Enron...

We're looking forward to it. : )

I'm going to really try, I really want to hang with you guys some more after tonight. lol. I'll let you know closer to time whether or not I will be there for sure.

I can hardly wait.  I had to miss last night's support meeting because we are on vacation in TX.  I look forward to all our get togethers.  I love all you wonderful people and I feel the same way....you help keep me motivated and encouraged.  I still don't have those awesome earrings but am watching them on e-bay...down to $49 but hubby pulled though for a garnet necklace for my big birthday....he's awesome!!  See you later....by the way I have had some amazing retail therapy this past week at the outlet malls!!!  Better than seeing the psychologist....Debbie

We did the movie and lunch today and there were 8 of us plus my mom.  We had fun so I think we should do that every now and again. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  I'm sure the necklace is beautiful.  Keep chasing them earrings and you'll nab them!  Have a fabulous holiday and weekend!

I was a bad girl and hopped on the scale on Friday morning and had lost 1-1/2 pounds!  I was thrilled and amazed.  So I had to immediately update my ticker!  I seem to be in a good place right now!  I just hope it lasts another few pounds. Thank you so much for noticing!  I appreciate it!
