The Brewery Wednesday Night

It really was fun. I just hope I didn't scare off fleemore's husband! It was great to get together, and my DH really wanted to be there. It is nice to be able to eat with people who know what you're going through, and people who don't mind if you sniff their steaks and baked potatoes! (Thanks, Fleemore's DH)

We had a blast!  You can't scare him off!  If junior high students don't scare him you most certainly can't either!!  I think it takes either crazy, special or weird people to teach the wild animals these days...or all the above (ha).  He'll talk school any time.  Of course, any time he wants to at this point he can say "I'm outta here"!!!  He says it's different when you can actually retire and have that freedom to if you so choose to.  Hopefully your DH will be able to join us next time....  We're also looking forward to seeing your new AVATAR!

Speaking of names and faces, there are a few faces that were a lot skinnier in person than their pictures !!!!  There were a few I wasn't sure if it was them or not !!!  It was a great time.  I have a message from Cowboy that I'll be posting in a minute.  Looking forward to next month !

I know what he means, Debbie! He informed me on a lot of issues about my retirement last night. I really enjoyed talking with him. Yeah, to be in the "kid business" you've definitely got to be a bit...ummm....crazy to deal with them all! LOL

I will have to say that I had a great time last night as well...dinner and company was great, though I wish my girlfriend could have come with me too....was a little worried since I really didnt know anyone except from on here...so I had a little fun, went shopping at some stores that we dont have down here and filled up my tank for $3.43 a gallon (gas down here is $3.79).  Thanks alot you guys and hope to be able to come up again for another one but dont know with school starting up and having classes on Monday and Wednesday nights for the first semester.  We will see....Thanks again you guys.
