I just found out more about my previous co-morbidities

I finally got the paperwork filled out for my American Fidelity Disability Insurance claim for being off work due to surgery. Nothing like waiting for 9 months, huh? Anyway, I also found out that our school board also pays for short term diabilities, too. (Thank you Edmond board members!!)

Anyway,  Brandi filled out the doctor's papers for me on both. The second one wanted to know specifics. I didn't know/forgot some of them:

1. Cardiomyopathy. Yikes. I knew I had a leaky valve, but didn't know about the CMO. After I read about it on the AHA, yep. I HAD it...HAD being the operative (no pun intended) word.

2. Hypertension. Resolved.
3. OA (Osteo Arthritis). Pain doesn't live in my joints anymore!
4. SOB, Shortness of breath. Be gone, huffin' and puffin'....well, when walking..I won't say completely.
5. Gerd. Ack, so glad it's gone.
6. OSA (obstructive sleep apnea)..out, out, darn machine and good riddance!

I nominated Dr. Walton and WeightWise for News 9's Making a Difference, and Melissa Maynarich decided his saving my life wasn't a worthy story. Fine, chick, but I bet it would be newsworthy if it were YOUR life he saved!

That's the thing....it's not about looking good in your jeans-well, not completely.  But looking good is the benefit, a nice side effect of being healthy.

Good for you.  The extra money always comes in handy.  I would have nominated him also.  I KNOW he has saved my life as well.  They just don't know unless they've walked a mile in our shoes do they???

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!
