Random thought...all-you-can-eat buffet
Even before surgery I thought buffets were a waste of money the food is never that fresh and the idea of someone that had just finished using the potty without washing their hands plays on my mind..or to see someone picking their nose while getting their food......not to mention the greasyheaded ole fart that wipes snot on the back of his hand while getting his food.
BIG OL' WASTE OF MONEY! I WENT TO CHINESE BUFFET SEVERAL WEEKS AGO WITH MY PARENTS AND IT WAS A WASTE OF TIME TO EVEN GO UP TO THE BUFFET BECAUSE I COULD BARELY EAT ANYTHING. I WON'T BE DOING THAT AGAIN.I DON'T THINK I WILL BE GOING TO ANY MORE BUFFETS AGAIN. I MADE THAT DECISION BEFORE YA STARTED GROSSING EVERYONE OUT WITH THE BOOGER STORIES! HAHAHA!! PEOPLE ARE SO GROSS AND THEY THINK NOTHING ABOUT IT. on 9/27/08 8:16 am
My parents love the chinese buffet-so I go, rip the guts off an egg roll, the breading off chicken, and STILL take less food than anyone else there.
My take on eating out in general is it's no longer cost effective-so when I do it I go for the variety. When cooking at home, it's not really worthwhile for me to open two cans of different things, so I tend to eat one di****ems. At Mimi's I was able to sample salad, quiche guts and the crust of a muffin. Eating out has become about the social for me-and I enjoy that part still.
When I'm alone, I tend to revert back to one item orders....but pioneer pies has this awesome lunch special-I can eat the meat off half a sanwich, a few bites of salad or the veggies out of soup and the top of a sugar free pie....for like 6 bucks....and they are used to me now. It would be funny to go in with a group of us and blow their minds.
