I am SOOOO sorry that you felt attacked today. If I hurt your feelings I sincerely did not mean too!
There has been a running joke here for a while about my "take" on stalls or stoppages or whatever others call them. I felt the term "body readjustment" more adequately described what happens in the first year but several of the ladies took exception to my term and it has just been a "funny" ever since.
As far as how long these things last, it is different from one to the next. However, try hard not to compare your own journey with others. If only it were so simple...
Please accept my apologies again. I never want to make anyone feel that they cannot ask a question here and expect compassion and empathy from others. I expect it and I appreciate you letting me/us know we stepped in it today.

What I did was pick a spot on my body to watch. For me, it was my midsection. I made a point to look in the mirror before I showered once a week to see. The first day I could see my belly button I rejoiced! I won't tell you what i did when I found my collarbone again!
