One month out stats

Hi, Everyone.
I am one month out, and I wanted to share my stats with my OK family, for whoever cares. ;)
I've lost 23 lbs. since surgery (Nov. 17). That makes 64 lbs. since August, and 90 lbs. since my highest weight.
I took and recorded my measurements (chest, waist, hips, neck, bicep, thighs, calf) the day before my surgery, and I took them again today. I've lost 19" all together.
I'm sure none of these stats would win any record, but I am pleased. I thank God for His help all along the way. I cannot do this without Him.
Thanks for letting me share. All of you have inspired me, in one way or another.
Blessings,
Mary

Mary you are such a sweet lady   , and you deserve the very best results, and looks like your getting them. Congrats! The biggest thing that I noticed when reading your update was that you have almost lost the same amount of inches as pounds. WOW!! I didn't measure before surgery, didn't even think about it   , but since I'm 2 weeks out, I think I'll have my DH measure me tonight, better let than never. So, I take it you didn't make it to WW today? I didn't make it to my diet class either yesterday. Again Congrats, and just imagine in another month!! WAY TO GO!

Hi, Amber.
Thanks for all your kind words. I was horrified, to think of letting MY husband measure ME--no way! However, you're much smaller, so I can see that, for you.
I hadn't thought about what you said--that I've lost almost as many inches as pounds. That's cool. I'm fine with that. :)
I'm still planning on driving to Edmond. I'll live Winfield around 11 a.m., which will give me 3 1/2 hours to get there, which should be plenty of time. I promise to call the highway patrol first, though, to ask about the condition of I-35.
Do record your measurements, because I've read posts, that when one stalls but sees one is losing inches, it helps.
Blessings,
Mary

Thanks, Debbie. I am encouraged, and I'm ready to look fine in 2,000 and 9! [Well, as "fine" as a 52-year-old can look.]

Mary, you are doing fantastic. That was a good idea to measure yourself. I will have to remember to do that.

Hi, Marsha.
Thanks. I can't see the weight loss yet, but my daughter says my face looks thinner, and my husband says there's less of me "coming after" me, so maybe it's 5 lbs. off my face and 85 lbs. off my behiney. I'll take that. Can't see it, but I'll take it. :)
Blessings,
Mary

Congratulations, but it's not about the stats.  The stats that matter are how much longer you'll live, how few medical complications you'll have throughout the remainder of your life, and how many things you can do that you couldn't do before.  The last of those is the hardest to quantify, but perhaps the most important.  Congratulations on improving those stats.
