help me find a doctor who will take my insurance!

i am 47. and iam tired of being over weight . the insurance i have is medicad and prime advantage. my doctor is welling to gives me the paper work to have surgery. and prime advantage said i can get the surgery due to my health. is there anyone who can help me find a doctor so i can lose all this weight. i am 515 lbss. becky

Hi Becky..I dont think its that the Dr's arent willing to take the Medicaid, its that medicaid will not pay for the surgery.. I have medicare I am 44 and thats how mine is being paid for , I didnt even have to wait for approval...I read a pesonal journal online about a man that was turned down thru his insurance but the Texas Rehabilitation Commission paid for him. Perhaps contact Oklahomas Rehab , Maybe they will help... Good Luck..
