my WOW moment :)
It seems like such a wasted to buy regular priced items if you can only wear them for a short while. Inb my case I'm changing slowly enough that I can wear clothes for about two months if I buy them a bit snug to begin with.
The other day I wore to work (Christmas Eve day) a red sweater that I've had for a few years and I both noticed that it was too big. She suggested taking it to a tailor and I said "Even if it was taken in to fit me nicely, the label would still say 2X." I don't care if I buy my clothes at Sally Anne's or Holt Renfrew, when the label says XL or L, it makes me feel like I am finally winning! It's part of the psychological side of this journey.

I hear you ... $18 didn't break me tho so that's why I splurged .. otherwise I've been buying everything at Value Village because of the fast changing sizes .. once I'm set at my final weight then I'll invest good money in myself ... my sister says I'll come to love clothes (I can believe that haha) ... can hardly wait to go back to the states next summer for my follow up and shopping ... woot woot !!

You look great. I can see a big difference, (but I totally understand when you say YOU can't really tell....I'm like that too....so yup, gowith what others tell you lol). Love the top and love the colour, suits you very well. Congrats!!!

Thanks Marianne ... feels more real when others can see the difference I guess .. does that ever change ??? today hubby was standing behind me giving me a shoulder massage and man I hated to say it to him but it hurt ... lol .. he kept saying "wow I can feel your bones" .. finally I had to ask him to stop (altho I hated to cause it was so relaxing) .. but it was hurting my poor little bones !
Diane you look great!! I couldn't see the difference in myself for a long time, but that's what "before" pics are for - to remind you of how far you've come. I can really see the difference in your face, and the rest of you has become much smaller! Nice sweater too!!
