Sleep Test - And how I figured out how to get that crap out of my hair!

I had my sleep test last night, and I'm exhausted!  I didn't sleep well - different bed (harder mattress), wires everywhere and the HVAC system buzzing overhead all night.  Hopefully, I won't have to go back!

As I was getting dressed, I had an idea of how to get the gluey crap out of my hair  ... and it worked first try!

1.  Rub lots of hand sanitizer on the glue and let it sit for 1/2 hr or so.

2. Wash hair with Dawn Dish Soap - scrub well.  (I figured it can clean crude oil off of otters, it should be able to get this crap out of my hair!)

3. Rinse and wash again with regular shampoo and conditioner.

It worked!!  One round and I'm clean and glueless!

Now, I'm going to have a cup of tea, some breakkie and go to bed!

The nurse at the sleep test told me not to put any kind of "cleaner"/ shampoo etc. in the hair. That would only make it more difficult to come out. I was instructed to only use warm water and it came out fine.

I think it depends on what they're using to keep the electrodes attached.  Mine used a product that resembled hand lotion and didn't get hard, but stayed 'goopy'.  I found the alcohol in the hand sanitizer dissolved it.

Some places use a product that gets hard, like white glue, and some people here have said they had a devil of a time getting it out.  Perhaps my method would help, too.
