Hi Traci!

Yes, that's just what I'm going to do. As I told Oknee, I have  a really terrific pharmacist who is very sharp & always catches anything that won't work for me (new prescriptions, etc.), so I will rely on his knowledge. Thanks for taking the time to reply to my questions!

One day i'll understand whey the doc's prescibe and the pharmacists dispense pills for pain after bariatric surgery - i ended up with percocet.

there are effective liquid versions of painkillers - its always made we wonder if any of the professionals really 'get' it.
Sometimes the best support  you can get isn't all purple puddles and pink rainbows.

I agree with you on that point. I get really frustrated when my doctor asks me things that she should already know and are in my chart. I mean, she's been my doctor for 25 years now! She definitely doesn't believe in any heavy-duty painkillers because I've asked for them since my Tramacet doesn't work too well anymore for my back pain but she won't approve anything stronger like Percocet or Oxycontin. Then again, I don't really want those because I'm too afraid of becoming addicted to them. Oh well, we're all getting older and maybe I should cut her a bit of slack since I'm starting to forget things too - lol!
