Yep you got it.  The drier the skin, the heavier the fat content should be.  Since half and half is often on sale I'd try that first.  Just heat up 2 cups and throw in the bath water and soak.  You can use regular milk too but not enough fat in it for when you are super dry.  Milk baths are nice to soak in, I like to add a bit of almond oil or jasmine oil as well just for the smell.

Well I'll be damned.  I'll try it, thank you.

Best cream ever- Uremol - more $ but it's very thick-read less water. Is your vitamin D level ok?
also, put some oatmeal in a knee high and swirl it in the bathwater. Also - only use soap - pits/crotch-

My vit D is likely crap. And I only use soap on anything. LOL

I use Head and Shoulders shampoo instead of body wash because my thyroid condition makes my skin so dry.  The conditioner is great instead of shaving cream.  Follow it up with a good moisturizer like the Aveeno to lock the moisture in.

Vaseline Intensive Care with cocoa butter.  It's wonderful and smells yummy!

Not sure of your bathing habits but I had to stop showering everyday. Sounds gross but I do wash the important bits daily.
Only actually shower 3 X a week. In the winter. Summer may be different for obvious reasons.
All the other creams advice will definitely help too.
Have you had your thyroid checked? Decreased thyroid function can cause extremely dry skin among other things.
Best of luck Scratchy.....smile

Funny you mention the thyroid - Tracey mentioned it to me last week and I have a LOT of the symptoms. Seeing the Dr. this week, so will have it checked, thank you.

I think getting your thyroid checked is a good thing too
AS for bathing in cream...that sounds so nice but I'm afraid I'd have to add chocolate sauce and strawberries...lolol
