That's awesome news...
funny that we're hearing so much about those rashes now that the warm weather is starting up again. (well, sort of warm) I'm sure the dampness and rain has something to do with it to
REmember to try to keep that area really dry, air drying after your shower or bath is important. Don't use baby powder, which has corn starch in it, because the starch will feed the yeast.

I have actually taken to using the hair dryer on low/no heat. If anyone saw me through the window they would think I was insane, but it seems to work. Thank goodness for solid doors and blinds.
My son thinks I am going nuts. I have the hair dryer on and come out of the bathroom with wet hair. Oh well, he is 13 and I am sure there are bigger things that confuse him.

Hi Monica! You know what? Until I joined this forum, I had NO idea that I shouldn't use cornstarch! I've used it all my life for rashes - my mother used to put it on me when I was young - who knew that it would promote yeast infections! I also didn't know that I should not use baby powder - thanks for telling me that! This place has taught me SO much & continues to be my best resource for so many weight-related health issues! I'm finding it hard to keep these areas dry - I seem to sweat a lot, especially the panni area. What I've been doing (while I'm at home) is to roll up a hand towel, lengthwise, and stick it there & my flab hangs down over it & holds the towel in place. The rash in my armpit is harder to manage because I can't get anything to stay there - I tried gauze pads with some cortisone cream on them but the tape wouldn't hold as I moved my arm. TMI? Sorry! I'm already dreading the hot, humid days to come!!!!
