Surgery Class today
I'm an very excited and a bit nervous. I think that, if you have absolutely no apprehensions about WLS, you need your head examined!

But, I love going thu stores, looking at womens' size 16 and saying, "Next year, I'll be wearing that!"

Congrats Beth! You must be so excited.
I can relate to the nerves. As soon as I got my surgery date, the doubt-surgery campaign started in my head and only got louder when I managed to lose 23lbs on Optifast. I'd heard stories of people changing their minds heading into the OR and I vowed that I wouldn't let my nerves get the best of me. I had over two years of research and confirmation that this was the right course of action for me so regardless of what my nervous brain told me come D-day, I was going thru with it.
Here's looking forward to the day that we can say that WLS was the best thing we ever did for ourselves!
It was nice to meet you, too. It seems that, every time I go into a waiting room or meeting for WSL, I come out with a new friend or two!
Optifast starts June 13. Let the countdown begin!!
