Oh Marny, thank you so much for those wonderful words. You made me feel so good inside. That is almost exactly what my daughter told me! She doesn't see me as her mom who is fat - she sees me as her mom who she loves so very much - that is what she told me! I know that the rest of my family feels the same way - they usually don't even "see" the weight - they just see me, Deb, and they love me for who I am. I guess I just needed you to remind me of that, Marny! Thanks for your birthday wishes and for raising my spirits!

No, I was born and raised here in Windsor, but I'm much happier in northern Ontario. I've spent a lot of time in different parts of the north, like the areas around Timmins, Wawa, Chapleau, Sudbury and North Bay. Whenever we have free time we try to head north to a cabin to fish and enjoy some solitude. I'm hoping to retire to the North Bay area someday.

Yw :) before i didnt see my self fat too until i look in pics but someone told me that just look in the mirror everyday and no matter how you look and feel tell yourself all the good things about you like your pretty even if you dont feel it and but just say one nice thing about yorself everyday and you will feel good whether if you fat or not..my self esteem and how i look ive been feeling down about it but its ok you and i will look and feel good pretty soon will be laughing at this soon watch lol when we look back at it.. dont worry its your day enjoy

Joanne, I think we'd all be better off if we did that! I'm going to get up tomorrow and look in the mirror and find something that I like about the way I look. Let's face it, we all have days when we think we look really good, whether it's just that we're having a "good hair" day or our skin seems clearer or our eyes look brighter - whatever. We have to try to find something to feel happy about. Thanks for that great suggestion, Joanne - now remember to compliment yourself tomorrow, okay?
