first round of appointments

Wow, I went to my orientation on Monday and someone just called me from HRRH and asked if I was willing to work with one of the surgeon's that operates out of St. Joe's on the Queensway (not Hamilton St. Joe's).  I said sure so she said they will be emailing me later today with four appointments in July!!  One with surgeon, dietician, social worker and I didn't catch the last one, but I know they said a gastric bypass class was among the first things, so that is probably it. They even said that due to the distance I have to drive they will try to book two appoinments per day so I come twice for the four appointments.

I really can't believe this is happening...it is surreal!!

WOW!!! I  had my orientation as well on Monday at HRRH.  I got the same call yesterday and have the four appointments scheduled as well for July.  I met a surgeon from St. Joe's and my class are on July 14th, and the dietican and SW are on July 20th. (what a great b-day gift)

BTW, how did you get your dates?  They called me this morning and said they would email me the details later on today, but I haven't gotten anything yet.  I guess I can call tomorrow.  Did they give them to you over the phone or by email?

Well I am very happy for the both of you.  You must be so excited to be your journey!!!  I hope the same happens for me in August when I go to my orientation.  I'm from Windsor though.  Wish me luck :)

she gave me the July 14th dates over the phone and the july 20th was in the email.  She tracked me down, called al the numbers I listed.  home,cell and work. 
I'm hoping you have received your email by now.
