Glad your surgery went well and your home doing fine. Take this time to heal as my doc told me before you have once chance to heal right the first time so don't over do it.

Glad to hear all went well Beth.  I would be interested in knowing your hospital experiences.  I'm there in one more week.  Take the time to get lots of rest and hope you are feeling better soon.

My hospital experience was great ... for being in a hospital!  All the nursing staff was great, very helpful and nice.  First night I was awake more mostly due to the pain, but the second night I only woke up when the nurse came in to deal with the other patient - but by then I needed to pee and get my vitals done, so no biggie.

I would recommend you pack is a set of headphones.  On the spur of the moment, I grab a pair.  Turned out that the previous 'bed tenant' had rented a tv and they didn't disconnect it - so all I had to do was plug in my headset!
