What are you eating/doing today? (Sunday)

Morning all :)  Don't ask what the hell I'm doing up this early - been up for a couple of hours already.  Grrr.  Not much on the schedule for today - hopefully the weather is nice again!

Pre-B - coffee with milk, then a latte made with sf chocolate almond milk, coffee and a shot of cinnamon syrup
B - 1/2 cup of Kashi Go Lean cereal (dry), 6 absolutely delicious cherries that I got at the market yesterday
S - protein shake (yeah, I'm back to giving them a go - need to up my protein and nutrition lately)
L - 21g old cheddar, sliced tomato, pickle, a couple of slices of smoked ham, MAYBE 2 crackers
S - cherries and blueberries, tea later
D - roasted chicken, coleslaw, a little caesar salad, small bit of macaroni salad
S - maybe another protein shake - we'll see how much I can eat today

Have a fabulous Sunday - back to work tomorrow!

Hi good morning i am up early to everday.i have trouble slepping.i hope you have a wonderful day today.
B milk one slice of toast with sugar free raspberry jam
S 1/2 cup of rasberries and strawberries 1 bottle of water
L Tuna wrap with lettuce and a bottle of water
D chicken breast with  a garden salad
S water and some melba toast and 1 oz of cheddar cheese
have a great day.

Hi Karen - I have been off line for a few days - are you not feeling good? Or is it still the meds making it difficult to eat? You sure have had enough "stuff"

Flew back in late last night during that storm....toughest landing I have ever had....whoa...terra firma felt good

B - protein shake

s - yogurt and fruit

l - chicken salad

d - going out to a perch fish "fry"....going to ask the host if I can also be in the kitchen and broil a piece for me...(its my brother or I wouldnt ask...)

s - not sure - fruit hopefully

All water and vits and lots of coffee..

Not sure what's up with me lately, Barb.  Food sounds great, a few bites in, I'm done. Starting to wonder if it's psychological due to my HUGE fear of regain or something else. lol  Adding the protein shakes to make sure I'm getting enough as a precaution.  I plan great meals - eating them is a whole another story.

Hope you had a great trip!  The flight doesn't sound very fun though - scary!

So you just find you are full very early? Do you have any pain ( yeah I know - Dr Barb here!)...

I hear you re the fear of regain....so far I am able to keep some balance and eat a bit of everything....no crazy gorging like before....but I watch the scale daily and react immediately if I see something other than just salt and water retention....
But I know I am only 27 months out and still may have some malabsorption

What if you ate more frequently? I am just worried you wont get enough nutrients in...

Dr Anvari told me to eat "ëverything" if I can manage it....and I do...good for nutrition and long term psychology...but like you I also ensure I get at least 80 grams of protein each day....Glad you are back to some protein shakes...

If this goes on much longer will you go see Dr Hagen?

No pain, just completely full and not wanting to eat anymore.  I try to eat more frequently, but then it feels like grazing, if you know what I mean.  I'm thinking the protein shakes will stimulate my system and get me back on track with eating.  Seems the less I eat, the less I want.  Need to find that happy balance again.

Yep, if this goes on, will most definitely see Dr. Hagen (hope he remembers me lol).  I do NOT want to become malnourished.  Thanks Barb.

I see you have a cawfee night planned on wednesday - going to try and get out of the office in time to drive to mississauga....I wanna check you out

Good morning Karen! You are up early for a Sunday. I actually slept in even though it's only 7:00am. Well today I am planning on going for my walk/run. Ibwill probably spend some time in the garden, then it's relax by the pool with family.
B 1/2 c Greek yogurt wth maple sryrup and 10 cherries
S fresh strawberries 1/2 cup
L fresh lettuce from my garden with grilled salmon and homemade dressing
S protein drink
D fresh lettuce with grilled chicken and tetziki sauce
