What are you eating/doing today? (Monday)
Morning all :)
Back to work today - and I found out on Friday that the person I've been covering for (and on-call for any child abuse/youth issues 24/7) won't be back this week. And camps start today (picture 2500 kids across the city). Going to need a stress pill. LOL Ah well. Brings back fond memories. Looks like another gorgeous day, so will try to get out for a bit at lunch for some sunshine.
B - coffee with milk, protein shake
S - 6 cherries, 21g old cheddar
L - fresh shrimp spring rolls (2) (shrimp and vegetables wrapped in rice paper, cold)
S - shrimp roll (1), protein shake
D - leftover night - roasted chicken, coleslaw, mac salad, casear salad
S - likely just tea

Karen I'd think you would want an ANTI stress pill...but if you like lots of stress go for it! lol
B- coffee 2..maybe three..and a boiled egg and a baby bell. 12 gr protein
S - protein bar 20 grams pro.
L - lg Wendy's chili 26 grams ( eat out day)
S - taste of nature bar 6 grams
D - frozen blueberry's and 175 gram of Greek yogurt 20 grams
S - Watermelon!
So total protein today will be...104 gr. right on target. As for Cal. about 900. Okay might have to change that nature bar for another egg. Want something to put in my purse and go. That also includes four water (500 ml ) water bottles.

I so admire all you wonderful people that work with kids, especially special needs kids. I have ONE and it's a difficult road. I am always so greatful for the resources out there available....and trust me...I use them, without them I'd be lost. So very very greatful!
Nice today, just running errands and maybe some shopping/walking.

Special Needs kids tickle my heart and warm my soul!!. . . . . .. . . .I work with students in a school setting. I am in awe of their parents as I can go home and collect myself, regain some energy and have time to myself. . . . . .but you can't Marianne. I love parents like you. . . .. .they are some of my favourite people. Kudos to you, Marianne!
I don't usually post on here as I don't really plan ahead like the rest of you guys. I am a creature of habit though so I tend to eat a lot of the same stuff. I really just wanted you to know that I acknowledge the huge compliment you gave Special Needs workers. Thank you.

Summer has started off well. I'm still greiving Sandi's death but it gets a little easier over time. . . .. . . life goes on and there are lots of things to be happy about in life so I make sure that I find some moments every day that put a giggle in my heart.
I think about you too. I have my one year check up this week. I look so different. You and I would probably walk right past each other. Snicker.

I would know that laugh anywhere..I will be in Toronto on the 29th of July for all my year check ups..(only a couple months late) I have been doing well except my stomach has been hating me for a while now. Had the gallbladder out and now have these weird pains in the pouch area. Had an endoscopy done and am inflamed, but they are not sure what is causing the pain as there are no visable ulcers or anything..weird, but a small price to pay for losing all the weight and loving the new shopping addiction
This makes me sad. I had the great pleasure of meeting Sandi, and her granddaughter a while ago. Would love to meet you Barb.
