SF Popsicles - Chapmans vs Popsicle Brands

I find it difficult to find Chapmans around, so I purchased Popsicle brand today.  When I got home, I compared the two on the Nutrition and Ingredients charts:

Chapmans:

Ingredients:
Water, Maltitol, Maltodextrin, Citric Acid, Guar Gum, Sucralose, Natural Flavour, Colour

Sweetened with Maltitol and Sucralose. Contains 8 mg Sucralose per 50 mL serving.

Popsicle:

From what I can see, they are practically identical.  In fact, Popsicle brand has 50% less Sugar Alcohol and Carbs than Chapmans.  I haven't had a Popsicle brand yet, but if I don't have any problems, I don't see the difference in which one I use.

I haven't been able to find any of these yet.  I live in a small town but have tried L&M, IGA and No Frill so far with no luck.

Ask the person in charge of ordering for the freezer section to get it in.  Just because they don't carry it doesn't mean they won't if you ask them to.  They will carry whatever is in demand, even if it means getting rid of something else that doesn't sell as well.

Hi,

I find this time of year the summer sales start and it's a good time to look for popsicle makers, remember the Tuperware ones from when we were kids.

I take my cristal light, koolaide sugar free, etc and freeze those, they are super yummy and fresher, plus you can mix and match them, try being creative add chunks or purree of fruit too.

Good luck Sue

I prefer the Popsicle brand.  The Chapman brand is very very hard like a piece of ice whereas Popsicle are a bit softer.
