Me too Paula - and I agree. Everytime I've gotten the Chapman ones, they've been a big chunk of ice. lol

Chapman's are actually called "Water Ice", which is why they have a harder texture.  I can't tell you how many of these I went through during the first few months of surgery just to ease my stomach from the horrible heartburn I had to put up with.

Only downside is they were not cheap.  Thankfully my mother was kind enough to cover the tab more often than not.

Haven't bought any in a over a year though (since the Chapman's factory fire to be exact).  It was difficult to find their products for a period of time and I guess I didn't really need them anymore.

I'll have to see what I can find at the Metro across the street from me as well as Walmart and RCSS (the latter two being cheaper, although not as conveniently located).

I love the Popsicle brand and I have had the Del Monte brand as well.  12 in a box and 2 flavors.  Mixed berry and Orange.  I don't really like the orange flavor but love the mixed berry.  There is 5 grams total sugar in these ones.  1gram sugar and 4 grams sugar alcohol.

in my opinion these are some of the worst diet foods around. Sure they are low calorie but ounce for ounce you might as well have flat glass of coke - that has less calories. So if you eat one a day fine.. if you eat more .. well have a glass of squash...

Also beware some of them contain sugar alcohols - which are really good at cleaning out the system to speak. I always wonder if peope on optifast who have these are getting the trots from these or the optifast.
Sometimes the best support  you can get isn't all purple puddles and pink rainbows.
