If you are beginning the path, already on the journey or support someone in their choice to have weight loss
surgery this is the workshop for you!
Meet others who share your cir****tance, bring your family so they can ask questions and
learn with you! No one has to go through this alone... support is here in the form of information, and others who have been there, done that.
Monica Ganz, Ph.D., CWLC, is a behaviourist who has worked with support groups for more
then 30 years. She always tells people that diets do not work, if they did we would all be
skinny. What we all need is a lifestyle change so we eat healthy and are aware of all we put
into our mouths every moment of every day. She spent all of her adult life as a super
morbidly obese person, until January 14, 2002 when she had an open Roux-N-Y surgical
gastric bypass procedure.
She has since lost 350 pounds and maintained it for over 9 years. Monica has since started and mentored to
over 700 support groups throughout the world. She is the founder of
can get on line help to a healthier lifestyle.
