Is there parking at Dr Glazer's office?
Is there parking at Dr STARR;s office?
What are some hotels near the area?
Anyone with previous experience with Dr STARR can tell me about the length of self injections that were required after the surgery?

Yes, there is parking at Glazer's and Starr's - it's pay parking. I paid $15 approx for each appt.

Here's a thread about places to stay near Humber:

I haven't had surgery yet but was told by my surgeon that the injections would be for 7-10 days post-op.

And is your surgeon Dr. Starr?

Dr Starr's office is on Sheppard west of Bathurst - so no charge for parking but park on the side street.

Oops! My mistake. I assumed Starr worked out of the same MIS office as the rest of the bunch - at Lawrence/Dufferin.

No, my surgeon is Dr. Huynh. Dr. Glazer was my internist. It's my understanding that Dr. Glazer gives the script for the injections but I'm not 100% sure on that. Hopefully someone who had the surgery recently can chime in.

Yes Dr Glazer gave me the script while I was in the hospital - my hubby went next door to the medical centre and got it filled before we went home.  I also got a script for Prevacid.

I just went a few weeks ago and saw both.  Dr. Glazer and Dr. Starr.

Glazer is in the Professional Building, next to HRRH and the parking is 15 a day.

Starr is on Sheppard West, a little house on a street corner so I parked on the side street, next to the construciton, no meters, so no fees.

Just in case this helps....I stayed at Comfort Inn, where the rate is $84.99 per night but ONLY if you tell you are there for HRRH.  There are also a Travelodge and Holiday Inn, but they don't offer special rates for hospital.

From Comfort Inn to the HRRH it's about 1/2 km so I walked and saved $30 as I was there for 2 days!  Comfort Inn doesn't charge for parking.

Just realized that you might not be a traveller from far but if you are, don't forget your Travel Grant for Tracy @ Dr. Starr's ofc to sign!
