Whey Protein

Is there not one with lower sugar than 16g?  That is *way* too high for a protein drink (or anything else for that matter).

Where did you get the Beneprotein? 

Karen I did think that 16gr sugar was too high that is why I didn't buy any.
I guess I will just keep looking.

I actually just picked up Beneprotein from Metro in Napanee. I had to ask the pharmasist about it first. They happened to have a box of 75 individual serviing (7g each) pakets that had been ordered and never picked up. So I ended up paying about $40 dollars for it.

He said that if I wanted something in particular to bring in a description or picture so he knows what to look for when ordering...

Each packet has the following nutritional info on it

25 Calories
0 Fat
0 Cholesterol
15mg Sodium
0 Carbs
6g Protein

At my WLS class in Ottawa they recomended Beneprotein it can me mixed into anything, they sell it at the clinic, or you can order it online from well.ca.

I know someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I think it is better to concentrate on getting your liquids in more than the protein.......or is it the other way around......hmmm....

oh well....keep your chin up........LeanFit protein isn't too bad

I have found that when a protein is not too tasty I add one of the sugar free syrups to it to make it more palatable. I also use a shaker and add a ton of ice and I think the freezie texture makes it easier going down.
I think you'll have to do some experimenting.
