What are you eating/doing today?

Didn't see Karen M's post this morning, so I thought I'd start the thread today.

Just passed the 4 months stage, and also just passed the 180 pound mark. Still get the Foamies from time to time - really have to slow down and chew better. If this keeps up, I won't have any trouble maintaining once I reach Goal.

If I lose the discomfort I'm afraid I'll lapse back into bad habits, you know?

B - bowl of blueberry Special K, large milky tea
S - Greek joghurt, chewable multivitamin
L - 2 g Cheddar, 2 g turkey kielbasa, 3 crackers
S - protein shake
D - tossed salad w egg and feta.
1 litre water
watermelon - bedtime snack.

Morning Gaby et al :)

Gaby, foamies are awful - at least you know how to avoid them. Bleah. By the way, only 2g of cheddar and kielbasa?

Working, wishing I was sitting outside in the garden having my cawfee instead of at my desk.

RNY 5+ years - maintenance

B - coffee with milk x 2, protein shake
S - 21g cheddar, small peach (peeled - my gawd, I can't stand the furry skin)
L - can't decide - brought 3 oz beef and portabello mushroom burger with grilled veggies and cucumber/tomato salad OR crustless quiche with the cucumber/tomato salad - we'll see how I feel when lunchtime arrives
S - iced coffee likely, no base
D - leftover beef and portabello mushroom burger with grilled veggies

All vites on track so far, attitude: poor. lol

Have a good one!

K.

Gaby I really hope you forgot a number after the 2 or you meant to write 2 oz.  2 grams of anything is nothing.

I'm having a brain fog day today, maybe too much time alone  with the other half on an island is getting to me.  LOL

B - 3 coffee with french vanilla splenda

S - 1.5 oz fruilano light cheese with 2 ryvita crackers

L - BBQ burger sans buns with all the trimmings, coleslaw

S - BBQ chicken breast, grilled veggies

Trying to avoid the red wine tonight, have had a tad too much in the last 10 days but we are on vacation.

I truly think I'd have to kill Joe if we were left together alone on an island. Try not to go Jack Nicholson on him. LOL  I'm having a brain fog day today too - lack of sleep.

Glad to see you back on the thread, I've missed you.

We do our own thing for part of the day so it's okay.  I think I just want to go into Rouyn to go shopping so I have the fever to go.  LOL  He wants to avoid shopping so comes up with an excuse to stay here.  We have to rip down the old cottage since we are no longer allowed to keep two on an island even if one is just for a sleep camp.  We took the kitchen off yesterday so he's busy out there today cutting the logs into firewood length.  I am busy reading my Kobo and surfing the net a bit.  Had a bit of work to do this morning so did that and now I'm free. LOL

I slept like **** last night too.  Woke up at 2am and couldn't fall back to sleep.  I keep waiting to hear they recovered the body of the man that drowned Friday night here.  It really bothers me that he could still be out there and his family is all waiting at the landing for them to bring his body in. No updates online yet and according to the online papers the police are still searching but I saw them all leave at 1230pm yesterday so hopefully it's recovered and just not been released to the press since it was Sunday.

How awful and how sad for his family.

As a terrible aside, is it bad that I would be scared that he'd wash up on my beach?  Bad, I know. lol

It's not terrible at all, it's reality.  I won't even go to the front of our island because it's on that part of the lake he went under.  I have been going to the back bay only since there is no way he could end up there.  I don't even want to go boating near the end of the lake he went under as I would just hate to hit the body if it surfaced.  I really hope it's recovered and the family can go home and mourn properly.

OMG, I'd be the same way - wouldn't want to even go near the water!

Whew.  Glad it's not just me. lol

All this "body" talk is throwing me off my breakfast lol. Seriously - I'm always off my breakfast this week - that had nothing to do with it.  Blech.

Funny how chocolate macademia kisses go down real easy...but real food is making me feel like crap.  I got the serious runs - maybe I picked up something from the hospital.  Or maybe the chocolate is making me poop.  lol  TMI

B - coffee with milk and SF vanilla
L - greek yogurt with granola
S - some of the quinoa salad I'm making for supper
D - steak and mushrooms
S - maybe more quinoa salad and probably a couple of those darned kisses.

Watch the "runs" thing Erica - you could easily have picked up a bug (like c-diff) in the hospital.

I had no idea there was such a thing as macademia kisses - why, oh why, do they not make these things in sf versions?? lol
