It's official, but still having a hard time believing...

Since my surgeon changed, I had to visit the new one while on Opti, I mixed a shake in the parking lot of the clinic in order to stay on my schedule.When you ask for ice, ask for it to be crushed if you can, that way it becomes more like a smoothie, it is colder and tastes better. You can do, we all have faith in you!

Thanks.  I bought a small blender.  It is an Oster and is similar in size to a Magic Bullet.  Seems to crush ice with no problem and small enough to take with me...actually has a cup attached that you blend in and then turns into a sports bottle so you can take it with you.

 Tracey, that's awesome.  What a whirlwind.  I had a little hand blender at school to mix my Optifast with.  I always mixed it in my class during recess.  A few kids asked what it was and I just told them it's a protein drink kind of like Carnation instant breakfast.  They just accepted that and went about their business.  I'm away camping until Thursday of this week, but maybe we can get together for  coffee after that.  PM me and we can set something up.  Again, congratulations.  You must be so excited.  Gail

I am very excited, and nervous!  I have a little blender that I can take with me to schools so that shouldn't be a problem.

Have fun camping.  Do you camp in a tent or trailer?  I am looking so forward to camping next year!  I will have more energy and a much easier time getting up off the floor of the tent in the morning!!!
