Have you heard about the new food at the Ex?
Well I look at it from a different perspective. Just because it is there doesn't mean anyone has to eat it. That's the important lesson. We are only setting up our kids for a life time of heart disease and diabetes if we let them think that they have to try every faddish food. We have control over what we put in our mouths, not the people hawking food at the Ex.
Pre-op, I would have been all over a few of these choices. I think realistically we have to realize that people aren't eating these everyday - it's a once a year treat/novelty. Pretty sure one deep fried stick of butter isn't gonna kill ya. But yeah, the thought of these are gross.
Oh, and Americans aren't the only fat peeps out there - we Canadians do pretty good ourselves.
