What is an angel?  An angel is someone that you have "connected with" here on the forum who will report back to the board when you have surgery and let us all know how you're doing.  Additionally,  an angel can be somewhat of a mentor, offering more personalized support, guidance and a shoulder to lean on.   It doesn't have to be someone who lives close to you (that's what email and cells phones are for!), simply someone you feel a connection with.
