Plastics Question (for those who've had it done)

I'm wondering what the additional cost of a TT and arm lift is, on top of what OHIP pays as well as without OHIP.  I'm starting to save for it and need to get a ballpark figure to aim for.

Thanks.

I had a panni (with full TT), breast lift and the extra skin on my arms removed in 2005.  OHIP paid for panni, but the doc that did it gave me a bit of a deal, so I paid total 8 grand I think.  I won't recommend him, but only because he is getting kinda old and I don't know about his skills any more.

The hospital fees at Scarborough General have gone up since last year I think - but I paid $5500 for exactly what you're talking about.

Nessa - a portion was paid by OHIP (as I was approved for a Panni).  In a private clinic, you'll be paying for the whole deal.

You need to find a plastic surgeon in your area who works with OHIP and see what they charge..

Thanks for all the info, ladies.  I guess I'll have to save more than I initially thought (or just settle for paying for the TT for now).
