Thanks for all the responses.  It's strange how these thoughts creep into my head - I was just sitting here earlier having a drink of water and wondering what it might feel like to do something as simple as drink water after surgery.

I do know I won't be able to down a class of water and 10 seconds or less after surgery though...which will suck because I love that instant gratification of a nice big glass of chugged water.
