I am getting ready to start logging my food using an online resource.

Has anyone found a website that is particularly helpful in terms of monitoring the amount of carbs eaten and how much protein has been input.

I've been using fitday.com for years and like it.  Recently I tried out myfitnesspal.com and loved it!  Check out a few and see which one suits you best.

i use livestrong.com  myplate

It tracks everything, (carbs, prot, fat etc) and has a large food data base, there hasn't been many foods that it doesnt recognize, and you can log them by name brand (eg laughing cow cheez dippers) It also has an app for my blackberry, so i can track when i'm out.
