HI Gaby,

It's on September 14th at 6:30 at Tim's.  I'll post a reminder again next week.  Looking forward to seeing you both if you can make it.  :)

I work for a law firm in downtown Toronto.  Yes, a law firm.  The bigger firms in the city have a room of "secretaries" (in our case, we're called "Document Production Services" or "DPS").  We're open from 5:30 am to midnight (M-F), and 8am to Midnight (Sat&Sun).  I work Fri-Sun 1pm to midnight (3 X 10hrs [plus dinner]) and 6:30-11:30pm Tuesday (total 35hrs.).  We do all kinds of work, when there's work to do.

I've been doing these hours (or a variation thereof) since my daughter was 1 - she'll be 10 next month.  I've been on some form of nights here for 15 years.  I'm bidding my time until one of my dayshift friends retires in a couple of years and I can take her shifts.

The worst is when it's a long weekend (or Jewish holiday weekend) and it's dead.  Thankfully, I have the internet (although we can't download games anymore).  At least I'll get that baby hat knit for my new great-niece this weekend!
