Hey Hockey Parents : )
Thanks for all of the help with the mouth guard in my last hockey related post! I truly appreciate it all! Who would think I'd find such great help with hockey on an obesity website! Yes! I thought I'd share some pics of my little man on his first day of hockey school. (pre-house league)

Looks like he's having a great time already! Enjoy this year and it's tournaments (they are a blast).
Just a side note, you may want to put his shin guards over his skates (roll up the sock, undo the bottom strap and pull it over), it will help prevent cuts in that area. At his age, they don't go fast, but they don't always stay on their feet so it's better safe than sorry. It was a tip given to me last year by a hockey dad with an older kid. This year he's goalie, so I don't have to worry as much.
