1 hour 20?  That sucks!  I've had nights like that.   Could be hormonal, yes.  Stress is another factor for me personally - my brain goes crazy thinking of things as soon as I lay down and it's worse if I wake up in the middle of the night, which is more of the way my insomnia works.  And I'm convinced that I have hypothyroid as well. lol  And anything else Google and Wikipedia tell me I have.

If you were hypo, you would haven't insomnia.  I am hyper and that is a huge reason I suffer from insomnia.  I used to sleep just over an hour and feel like I had slept 12 and would be up cleaning and cooking at midnight then go into work all day the next day and never feel tired.

You mean my hypochondria-induced research from Google, Wikipedia AND WebMD is wrong?!

Morning/afternoon all!!  Joining this thread a little late.  Started teaching a new grade this year and it is consuming every minute during the day, but I have 3 preps today so I actually have a minute to spare. :)

Now- I may be paranoid, but I am pretty sure a couple of my grade 5's noticed my arm waddle (wearing sleeveless today as my classroom is an oven), flapping wildly as I was vigorously writing at the board this morning, and were giggling away.  First time that has happened, but tis what it is.  I have waddle and I'm okay with it!!  Much better than the big 'ol ham bones they were 9 months ago :D

Anyhoo....

B- Kashi Dark Cherry Almond bar (6 protein)

S- Fat Free cottage cheese (11p), 4 cranberry pumpkin seed crisps (deeeeelish)

L- Tim Horton's Chili (26 P) **Holy Cr@p!  Just checked the nut. info on that- 19 grams of fat!.  Should have checked before I packed it for lunch!!***

S- yogurt, fruit (12p)

D-  Considering lunch was so fattening, planning to revise.  Maybe just a mini can of tuna and some veggies? (15p)

S- Protein shake (24p)

***proposed protein intake (94 grams).  Exercise is my 5k run clinic.  All water and vitamins on track.

*laughs*

Waddle or no waddle, 5th graders would still find something to laugh about when it comes to their teacher.  Gotta love 10 year olds!
