How unpleasant for you. The only thing I can think of is that you could be a bit dehydrated and the physical exertion is then making you ill. Maybe try doing one set of stairs at a time, with some water inbetween? And most def ask about it at your check-up for sure.

I don't think I explained myself clearly. lol What I was suggesting was taking a break in between flights of stairs for a breather and a few sips of water, then doing the next flight, etc.

One month out isn't that far out, and it takes people all different lengths of time to heal. Perhaps you aren't as far along in the healing process as you might think (referring to internal healing), and stairs are too much right now. I know that when I was first cleared for exercise I started with a trainer. The very first exercise we did was climbing stairs, and afterwards I went to the bathroom and threw up. I think it was the motion of climbing. I'd bet it will improve over time, but best to mention it at your next meeting.
