MY vents. And yes, I do have them.
Well said. I am truly gratefu and l I will admit I am a personal fan of your posts. You post in a manner that is very respectful and easy to understand. Sometimes with other vet they sometimes come off very "know it all" like but I find with you that isn't the case.
Thank you for your contribution to this site and to helping pre-op's like myself.

Hi Karen
Sorry that I am not more active on the site, I do read most of the posts, some days I will read todays
and maybe 1-2 days ago posts and respond to some of them, but not always, as I feel that there is a
lot of people responding and my response would probably be the same answer etc.
I also feel that I am at a stall and know the reason why, but feel that I don't have any updates etc to
post and therefore, leave the posting to other people etc.
I always enjoy reading everyone's post, whether they be questions, WOW's or other concerns etc.
and don't feel that either it doesn't require any response or my response may not count LOL
Take care and keep up the great job of answering the serious and some times not so serious
questions and comments, we all enjoy a good laugh as well
We do love to read your post
Hugs

Ya - but you forgot me on that little list of vets who still post!
Oh - and you forgot my biggest pet peeve of all.
"I've been reading this board for a year waiting for surgery. I had my surgery 3 weeks ago and things were going well. But I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS WRONG!!! I haven't lost an OUNCE in the last four hours!!!! I think my surgery is broken!!!! I've NEVER read of this happening before!!!"

I'm ashamed - sorry Erica!

Oh - I forgot to say "F YOU!"
I remember having a conversation with my husband about this when I was pre-op. I told him how much I appreciated all the advice I got here and in our local CCC group. He told me "You're going to have to make sure you don't get too busy for those guys and continue to pay it forward after surgery!"
When I get busy and miss logging on for a couple of days, I think of that.
I will be honest - I have a few annoying posters blocked like Tracey does. And I am like Barb - I skim titles and don't open them if they seem vague or unrelated to something I know about. For example - I never read or post on the "waiting times" or "how does TWH work" kind of posts. I just know absolutely nothing about that.
It did kind of bug me today when I got that "actually, with Rny we don't have acid" reply...I mean - I know I had the sleeve, but I researched BOTH and have many ladies in our local CCC with the Rny - so even though I can't comment on what it feels like to have it - I do know a bit about how it works! lol I've been around the block - you know? But I let it flow off - water on a ducks back.
