You mean even if the bariatric assment center gives you the green light and you go to an info center...ohip can still deny you?

No. Her case will be reviewed by the bariatric team and they will determine if she's an appropriate candidate which will then automatically be "approved" by OHIP.

Yep! What Karen said - the Nutritionist told me I would be approved because I didn't meet any of the criteria for rejection but I still need to go before the entire team for the official green light.

The team meets every Thursday so if your final was yesterday it should go to rounds next Thursday then you will get your appointment with the surgeon. Wont be long now!
